Barry “Berel” Edison
Founder of berelsblues.com

Born and raised in Toronto, Barry first developed a love of the blues and classic rock as a teenager in the early 70's. Barry grew up listening to the sounds of blues greats Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, BB King, Alber King, Allman Brothers, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Elmore James, Junior Wells, James Cotton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Barry played the guitar for a little while as a teenager, although Barry wasn't very good at it he remained an enthusiastic music fan and audiophile.

Barry attended York University where he was elected president of the Council of the York Student Federation. Later Barry attended law school at the University of Ottawa, upon graduating Barry has successfully practised personal injury law in Toronto since 1982.

Barry's love of music however, has inspired him to promote music and hence the birth of berelsblues.com
